Description

Our country is green. The natural environment of the village has given us this picture. Bangladesh stands in the heart of the world with rural characteristics. There are about 68,000 villages in the country. Every village has its own unique characteristics and its people are different. Rural life is made up of both nature and its people. Most of the villages in Bangladesh are green. Because the difficulties of urbanization could not touch the village in any way. So people run to the village to see the green with both eyes. The orchards of mango, jamun and jackfruit are standing there, and the green crops of the field are swaying in the wind. In the words of the poet, the village is thus called ‘a nest of shadowy tranquility.’The people who live in this peaceful and stable village are very simple and innocent in nature. They are not familiar with the complexities of life. They live a very simple life.Majority of the people here depend on agriculture. Some cultivate their own land, some cultivate their own fields. Fishermen cultivate fish in the village ponds, and they hunt fish with boats on the riverbanks. Weavers have been weaving clothes since ancient times. Kumars make many things out of clay. People working with bamboo, cane and wood expand the industry along with livelihood. With the change of seasons, the occupation of some people in the village changes. Perhaps the fish caught in the rainy season, in the autumn they again get engaged in harvesting rice. Garhwans transport goods in bullock carts. The houses in the village are surrounded by greenery and almost without walls. So it’s easy to move from one house to another. This is why human relationships are so strong. They are coming forward to help everyone. That’s why there is no happiness or sadness. They all share the same.
