Description

Shalban Vihar is located in Mainamati. Each arm of the Shalban Vihara is 167.7 m long. The walls are five meters thick. The rooms are built around the walls of the enclosure.In the center of the courtyard was the central temple.Archaeological excavations have unearthed 8 copper plates, about 400 gold and silver coins, numerous terracotta tablets, seals, bronze and clay idols from the ruins of the monastery.
