Description
Not only Bangladesh, but the entire Indian sub-continent is considered to be a monsoon zone. Rain falls in certain seasons of the year. It is usually cultivated during the rainy season. Peasants look up at the sky and count the days when the desired rain, which depends entirely on this rain, falls. Even, they offer worship to God to appease the rain. They do as much as they can. And when they saw the clouds in the sky, a smile appeared on their faces. It was as if the rain god had been pleased with them. Then they went out into the field. There is no point in destroying them. If the rain comes at the right time, the crop will be good. By selling this crop in the market, you will be able to repay the loan of the moneylender, you will be able to meet the food shortage of your family throughout the year, you will be able to buy another good saree in place of Bibi’s old saree, you will be able to provide necessary supplies to the children, etc.
So, our sub-continent is dependent on this monsoon. The year when there is drought in the country, it will have an economic impact not only on the farmers but also on the entire country. Anxiety and depression can occur.
Again, the year in which there is a heavy rain, there is a flood, a lot of damage to crops and livestock, human misery, and mayhem. Those who put food in our mouths, then they become alms and kindness, being empty, without clothes.
Therefore, Bangladesh as well as the entire Indian sub-continent is a country of monsoon climate.
