Description
There are currently more than 400 species of butterflies in Bangladesh. That’s a staggering number for a small country. Every year new butterflies are discovered in different parts of the country. The birds fly to the trees for food. They feed on plant juices, honey, nutrient-rich water from streams, rotten fruit juices, and animal droppings.
Bees play an important role in the food chain. They eat insects, birds and reptiles. Butterflies are an indicator of how good an ecosystem is. And Bangladesh is full of the abundance of organisms that show these good signs biologically.
